Marijuana laws and legislation for Tromsø
From 2025, recreational cannabis will remain illegal in Norway. Possession, consumption, and distribution are punishable under the Norwegian Penal Code and the Medicines Act. While small quantities (up to 15 grams) are generally punished with fines, larger quantities or trafficking-related offenses can lead to imprisonment of up to two years, and up to ten years in serious cases. Despite previous efforts to decriminalize drug possession, including a failed 2021 bill, Norway maintains a harm reduction approach, stating that drug users should not be prosecuted for small amounts for personal use.
Medical cannabis is legal but subject to strict restrictions. Only a few approved cannabis-based medications, such as Sativex and Epidyolex, are available by prescription from Norwegian doctors. Non-approved cannabis medications with a THC content of less than 1% may also be prescribed under strict regulations. CBD products are considered medicinal products, meaning they require a prescription and must contain no more than 1% THC to be legal. While Norway remains strict regarding cannabis, the ongoing debates about legalization, including proposals from politicians like Arild Hermstad, point to the potential for future policy changes.
Criminal prosecution
While the Tromsø police don't specifically target recreational smokers, you can get into trouble if you're caught smoking in public (you'll likely be taken to the police station for a brief interrogation and face a fine). However, some people do smoke in public, and usually, everything turns out fine.
Where can you buy marijuana in Tromsø?
Norwegian stoners/dealers are generally very paranoid, but their addiction usually subsides in the evenings after a few drinks, so nightclubs could be a source for you. I think "Kaos" is the best choice, or maybe you could try Blaarock.
Look for people who seem stoned or shady, ask them politely, and some will probably help you.
Another report reads: “In Kroken, 7 km outside the city!”
Go to the shopping mall and find the stonest guy, ask him for a good "Tjall" and then all you need is a place to smoke =)"

Thank you so much for sharing, the delivery was quick. 🙌
This guy got me some amazing cannabis at a trendy nightclub, and it smoked fantastically. It quickly became one of my best vacation memories. I always contact him at securedsupplier420@gmail.com. Highly recommended.
Tromsø Marijuana Prices:
1 gram = 100 crowns
5 grams = 500 crowns (most vendors add a small surcharge if you buy 5 grams) 50 grams = 3.500 crowns
Brands:
Normally, you only get regular soapbar hash if you don't meet the right people. Sometimes you get good bubble hash, but strangers usually only get soapbar.
Marijuana is rare and probably just swag anyway.
