Legislation on marijuana in Brussels – Brussels, Belgium

In Belgium, possession of cannabis is not legal in any specific quantity. However, possession of up to 3 grams of cannabis by adults for personal use is tolerated. It is also said that a single female plant is tolerated. The police will record the owner's name, but the Belgian state will not initiate criminal proceedings.
We were informed that a new law permitting the medical use of cannabis has led to police being more lenient regarding possession of small amounts of non-medical cannabis. According to the FA, there is no legal way to buy or import cannabis or its seeds.

If you do not understand French, below is an excerpt from Belgian law stating that cannabis quantities of up to 3 grams will not be confiscated from the user.

6. Offenses committed under this policy will be recorded in a police database and must not be documented with any incriminating substances. This is to prevent them from falling into the daughter's possession. If you voluntarily confess, these substances will be confiscated by the responsible officer and placed in the police service's possession.

Criminal prosecution

Smoking cannabis is illegal in Belgium. However, as in much of Europe, the police typically only confiscate less than 3 to 5 grams. Even if you've cut it into smaller pieces, you could still be considered a dealer. As elsewhere, it depends on which police officer you encounter.

Where can you buy marijuana in Brussels?

Matong (near the Louise metro station) is an African neighborhood. The quality is very average, usually just marijuana. It used to be available on Rue de la Poste, but that's over now! Generally, you just follow your nose around the city, and if you get close enough, a few young North Africans might be able to help. But be careful! The Dutch border is an hour from Brussels. There are often police checkpoints at train stations, but no problems if you're driving or on the motorway.

And furthermore: “The easiest thing to do is to take a train to Holland: they run hourly. Go to Dordrecht or Rotterdam for the day and visit the cafes there. Go during the day and dress conservatively to blend in with the commuters. I rarely saw police officers on the train, and they seem more occupied with catching illegal immigrants getting off at Schiphol Airport (Amsterdam).”

While relaxing in a restaurant on vacation, this guy helped me buy fresh, natural cannabis. It was such high quality that it immediately became one of my fondest memories of the trip. I always contact him when I travel via donhendersonlegit@gmail.com. I can highly recommend him for great cannabis.
